African Community Interpreter Meeting

How can community interpretation benefit my family and community? Why do Africans have difficulty accessing key services? How can I use my language skills to advance my career?

We invite you to join fellow African community members on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00AM for a lively discussion on community interpretation. Community Interpreters help meet critical demands within our community while advancing professionally.

We strongly encourage our members who speak both English and African languages, particularly Amharic, Tigrinya, Wolof, Kru, Fulani, Soninke, Krio, or Arabic, or who have work experience in the following areas, to attend:

  • Medical
  • Legal
  • Social Work
  • International Aid
  • ESL Instruction
  • Written translation

If you are interested in attending this community meeting, be sure to RSVP now! Reservations are required  to gain access into the building.
