What is happening with the lawsuit against Obama's immigration relief program?

What is Withholding of Removal, and how does it affect me living in America and travelling to Africa?

Is Temporary Protected Status going to be renewed?

What do I do if I have a problem with my immigration lawyer?

Join your fellow African community members for a lively meeting discussing some hot topics in immigration!

The agenda will include:

  • An update on the lawsuit against President Obama's "Executive Action" on immigration (DAPA and DACA+) going to the Supreme Court;
  • A discussion about Withholding of Removal, applying for a green card, and travelling to Africa;
  • Temporary Protected Status for Guineans, Liberians, and Sierra Leoneans: will the program be renewed in 2016?; and
  • Information on what steps to take if you have hired a fraudulent immigration lawyer.

Refreshments and French translation will be provided as usual. Bring a friend to keep our movement growing!
