Black Communities for the DREAM

Once again, the New York Legislature has failed to include the DREAM Act in the State budget.

Once again, undocumented NY students- many of them Africans, Afro-Caribbeans, Afro-Latinos, and other black immigrants- are left waiting for the help they need to achieve their dreams.

Join us as we unite- black immigrants, African-Americans, and our allies from every community- to lift up our stories, demand that our leaders lead, and continue to fight for our American DREAM.

Event sponsored by African Communities Together, Black Immigration Network, The Black Institute, Haitian Women for Haitian Refugees, Micah Institute Immigration Committee, the NY Immigration Coalition, the NY State Interfaith Network for Immigration Reform, SEIU 32 B-J, SEIU 1199, and many more.
