How Can Africans Get Better Jobs?
Join your fellow Africans for a meeting about jobs for the African community.
The agenda will include:
- A presentation from Cooperative Homecare Associates, one of New York's largest home health care agencies, about training and hiring opportunities for homecare workers.
- Information about the Campaign for a Fair Workweek, and how African workers organized for fair and predictable schedules at their jobs- and won!
- A training and discussion of strategies for improving jobs in our community.
- Information about ACT's upcoming Jobs Clinics.
Refreshments and French translation will be provided as usual. Bring a friend to keep our movement growing!
